It all starts before I entered the world. I remember growing up in Yorkshire and Mum would tell me this story. She would say while she was pregnant she would clean the appartement and as she would touch objects she would get electric shocks. She would actually see the electricity pass through her fingers. She would say: “I knew you are going to be different and special!” and oh, how right she was. I remember school days very well. Though I don`t really remember the good times at school. Children can sometimes be the cruelest people of all. So I guess there`s a price to pay for being “different”. I would be in fights, duels and arguments. I would say I never was a bad kid in school but when you`re not like all the children from small towns, there`s bound to be indifferences. The teachers would confenscate my breaks, throw my meals on the floor, tear my homework up or insult and that`s just for playing with the girls. Leaving school was a happy time of my life. I attended performing Arts College and later attended Ballet School. I hated every moment of Ballet School and found myself taking every day off I could get away with it. After all there is more to life than ballet, ballet, ballet. I left Ballet School to work in a Cabaret Show. I guess it had potential but was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I became ill, very ill, and lost a lot of weight. Gastoricinteritis. I left work without note and headed for home. I guess that fate brought me home and two weeks later found myself rehearsing in London for my first cruiseship, headed for New York Bermuda and the Caribbean. Since then I climbed the ladder to where I am today. It wasn`t easy and it definetly wasn`t glamourous. But I seemed to have made it in one piece.
